The BARS Accredited Audit Companies play a critical role in the delivery of the BARS Program and assist in the assurance of high quality audit reports.
Accredited BARS Audit Companies are the only entities permitted to conduct official audits of aircraft operators for the purpose of BARS Registration. The Accredited BARS Audit Company shall only utilize trained and accredited BARS Auditors in the conduct of the BARS Audit.
Audit Companies are accredited by the Flight Safety Foundation BARS Program Office and are subject to ongoing monitoring and evaluation to maintain the BARS Accredited Audit Company status.
